A notes app for Mac · end-to-end encrypted · AI on your Mac

Write anything.It organizes itself.

A blank page every day. When the day’s done, Scribbit files what you wrote (tasks, links, decisions, people) into memory you can search. On your Mac, where only you can read it.

For Mac. Free to start. One email when it’s ready, and nothing else.

Today

Today

call Sam about the launch friday 10am

idea: a notes app that tidies itself up overnight

pricing: free to write, $5 a month to sync every Mac

decided: the AI stays on the Mac

HOW IT WORKS

Capture first.
Organize never.

No folders to pick, no tags to add, no titles to think of. You write; the rest is Scribbit’s job.

  1. 1

    TODAY

    A blank page, every morning.

Type, paste, speak, drop in a screenshot. Anything goes on today’s page, in any order.

  2. 2

    CLEANUP

It tidies up while you sleep.

At the end of the day, Scribbit reads what you wrote and files it: tasks with their dates, links, decisions, the people and projects they’re about.

  3. 3

    SEARCH

    Ask, and it remembers.

“What did we decide about pricing?” Get the answer, with the lines it came from, from months of notes.

As you wrote it · read only

  • florist quote came in, 2.4k, way too high
  • ask Sam about the budget before Friday
  • idea: the rabbit could read your calendarRabbit Hole · idea

  • fix the google sign-up bug, people drop off at step 2Hireus · task
  • tomatoes splitting again, water less?Garden · repeats Sep 18

Your words stay exactly as you wrote them.

Cleanup never rewrites your page. It leaves small marks in the margin (a task here, a project there), and a tap corrects one. Every earlier day opens just as you left it.

Switch the marks off, or correct Probably Wedding.

PRIVACY

Your notes are yours.
Even from us.

Flip the card: that’s everything our server gets of a page. It can’t read it, and neither can anyone who breaks in.

  • call Sam about the launch friday 10am
  • idea: a notes app that tidies itself
  • stripe key sk_live_51Hc2KxLmQ7nW
  • Priya: dinner saturday, 7pm

On your Mac: your words, readable and searchable by you.

  • End-to-end encrypted

Notes are encrypted on your Mac before they sync. Our servers hold only what they can’t read, and so would anyone who broke into them.

  • The AI runs on your Mac

Organizing, search and voice notes happen on your Mac, with Apple Intelligence or a model that runs on it. Nothing goes to an AI company, not even Apple’s cloud.

  • Nothing to sell

No ads, and no note in any analytics. Export everything, or delete your account and all we hold, whenever you like.

AND THE REST

The small things,
handled.

stripe key ••••••••••••••••••••

staging password ••••••••••

Masked everywhere. Never in search, and never given to the AI.

Someone to keep you company.

Pick a companion. It sits at the corner of the page, cheers when the day is cleaned up, and never interrupts. Go on, pick one: it’ll follow you down this page too.

QUESTIONS

Asked, and
answered.

Ask the way you’d ask Scribbit. ⌘K

Can you read my notes?

No. They’re encrypted on your Mac with keys only your devices have. We store what we can’t read, and we can’t unlock it for anyone, including us.

Which Macs does it run on?

macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. With Apple Intelligence it uses Apple’s on-device model; without it, a smaller model that runs on your Mac.

What if I lose my Mac?

Sign in on another one and add it with your recovery key: everything comes back. Lose every device and the recovery key, and nobody can recover your notes. That’s what encrypted means.

Do I have to use the AI?

You can write without it. Cleanup starts when you press Clean up, unless you ask it to run each night.

Does my writing go to an AI company?

Never. Cleanup, search and voice notes run on your Mac. Not to us, not to an AI company, not even to Apple’s cloud.

Windows, Linux, iPhone?

Mac first. Windows and Linux come next, then phones.

A fresh page, every morning.

One email when it’s ready. We never share it.
